Pick the line (life & health, property & casualty or adjuster), complete any required pre-licensing course, pass the state exam with PSI, get fingerprinted if required and apply through NIPR or the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC).

Does Washington require a pre-licensing course?

Not for life & health (as of our last check). Many candidates still take an exam-prep course.
