District of Columbia adjuster license

District of Columbia doesn't license independent adjusters. Here's how to work claims there anyway.

Working as an adjuster from District of Columbia

Residents of states without an adjuster license usually get a designated home state (DHS) license from Texas or Florida — pass that state's adjuster exam (or approved course), get fingerprinted, and use the license to get nonresident licenses in states that require one. No independent adjuster license in DC (only Public Adjuster: exam $75, 60 min, $100 fee).
