Massachusetts adjuster license

Massachusetts doesn't license independent adjusters. Here's how to work claims there anyway.

Working as an adjuster from Massachusetts

Residents of states without an adjuster license usually get a designated home state (DHS) license from Texas or Florida — pass that state's adjuster exam (or approved course), get fingerprinted, and use the license to get nonresident licenses in states that require one. No independent adjuster license. Licenses Public Insurance Adjuster ($200, exam $10) and Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser (exam via DOI voucher).
