South Dakota adjuster license
South Dakota doesn't license independent adjusters. Here's how to work claims there anyway.
Working as an adjuster from South Dakota
Residents of states without an adjuster license usually get a designated home state (DHS) license from Texas or Florida — pass that state's adjuster exam (or approved course), get fingerprinted, and use the license to get nonresident licenses in states that require one. SD does not license independent adjusters (no adjuster exam in handbook; NIPR lists no adjuster class).
