Ohio adjuster license

Ohio doesn't license independent adjusters. Here's how to work claims there anyway.

Working as an adjuster from Ohio

Residents of states without an adjuster license usually get a designated home state (DHS) license from Texas or Florida — pass that state's adjuster exam (or approved course), get fingerprinted, and use the license to get nonresident licenses in states that require one. Ohio does not license independent/company adjusters (only Public Insurance Adjuster: exam 11-38, no pre-licensing, $100 license).
