Colorado adjuster license

Colorado doesn't license independent adjusters. Here's how to work claims there anyway.

Working as an adjuster from Colorado

Residents of states without an adjuster license usually get a designated home state (DHS) license from Texas or Florida — pass that state's adjuster exam (or approved course), get fingerprinted, and use the license to get nonresident licenses in states that require one. Colorado does NOT license independent adjusters (NIPR). Only Public Adjuster license (exam, $44, $20,000 bond). Independent adjusters working CO claims need no CO license.
